Teneille Newallo earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater Performance, from Florida Atlantic University, graduating at the top of her year, Suma Cum Laude. She received an Irene Ryan Nomination for her work in the play Conflict. She landed a principal role in the Akon music video, Don’t Matter and a Rapids Water Park commercial. Other work included guest appearances in the feature films Love and Debate and Bachelor Party 2: The Last Temptation, and the pilot episodes of Burn Notice and Movie Star.

After returning to Trinidad, she continued to work on numerous television, print and voice commercials as a writer, casting director, actress/ voice actress and television host. She hosted the popular show on Synergy, Tzone. After touring in Raymond Choo Kong's theatrical production of What Sweet in Goat Mouth Does Sour in de Bam Bam,

Teneille then moved on to hosting the very successful B Mobile Danceoff, which also toured Trinidad and Tobago. Following that production, she was cast in the MTV/UNICEF feature film, Tribes, shot in Trinidad. Between shoots, Teneille also worked on the short films The Midnite Affair, Minutes to Midnight and John Tesoro; and television commercials including Carib Pilsner, Play Whe, First Citizens Bank, Guardian Life, Express Adrenalin, HiLo, Nestle, RBC Royal Bank and The Guardian Newspaper.

Ready to take on any challenge that comes her way, Teneille now takes on additional roles of Writer and Executive Producer of The Cutlass; a thrilling new feature film currently in production.
